Introduction:

Capillary electrophoresis uses polyacrylamide gel in thin glass tubes. Same as the principle of other electrophoresis technique, the migration of DNA occurs under the influence of electric field making the negatively charged DNA move toward the positive electrode. The long fragments take time to reach the end while the shorter ones reach quickly because of their small size.
