2 TARGET MARKET PRODUCT semisweet chocolate baking chips TARGET MARKET RESEARCH My target market is: middle-aged women who bake DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS middle aged women anywhere from ages 35-55 Single or Married High school Diploma & or college/secondary education Most likely have at least one child Middle class & up PSYCHOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS My target market can be described through psychographic characteristics such as, women who have a sweet tooth and enjoy baking. If there are children involved often times it can be a way to bond with children as well. This will target to women who find baking to be a hobby or stress release. This will cater to women who are financially healthy and enjoy baking from scratch and buying the best for each ingredient. More so the shopper most likely prefers the name brand products for baking over store brands. Can target the large market of cookie lovers as that proves to be the most popular baked good which is perfect for our product.
3 PERSONA PAIGE , 39 DEMOGRAPHICS LOCATION My persona lives in a suburban area known as Greenwood Lake NY in a single family home. MARITAL STATUS She is married and has two children, a boy who is 6 and a girl who is 9. OCCUPATION AND INCOME She works for a large company managing the finance department making around 120k a year. EDUCATION LEVEL She has graduated high school and has obtained a bachelors degree from Penn State University. She is currently pursuing her masters degree to allow for more opportunities in her career. PSYCHOGRAPHICS HOBBIES AND INTERESTS She enjoys baking from scratch and spending quality time sharing her love for cooking and baking with her children. She also enjoys reading and running.
