Results There was no visual change in the blocks being observed. We can observe from the data tables that as the block sizes and surface area to volume ratio got larger, the heat loss became much slower. Table 1 Block Size Surface Area Volume SA*V Ratio Small 1944 mm 2 5832 mm 3 1:3 Medium 2904 mm 2 10,648 mm 3 3:11 Large 7350 mm 2 42,875 mm 3 6:35 Table 1. Describes the sizes, surface areas, volumes, and surface area to volume ratios used. Table 2 Block Size Ratio Heat Loss Rate (°C/s) Small 1:3 -0.85 Medium 3:11 -0.4519 Large 6:35 -0.007 Table 2. Provides the slope of heat loss recorded during the experiment.

An illustration of Table 2 to compare the surface area to volume ratio in the small, medium, and large blocks and their relative heat losses.
