Apple Inc based out of Cupertino, California is a highly popular company that partakes in the production of the latest and most innovative technology available to the public. This powerful company was founded in April of 1976 by the jointed-entrepreneurship of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The two well educated engineers began by producing boxes to make long distance phone calls, and evolved their company to what some call, the monopoly of the Cell Phone industry. The products and innovations have created more than 1 million jobs in the United States. Many news reporters and the public alike comment whether the new IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 Plus, can top the charts of their predecessor: the IPhone 5s and IPhone 5c. The addition of a new phone to Apples already dominating line-up sparks many peoples interest, as they fight to be the first in line to receive the product. The newest phones to Apples line are the IPhone 6 and 6 Plus which were released to countries including the US, Australia, and Canada on September 19th, 2014. Apple Incorporation is one of the largest organizations dealing into Information Technology. Apple has a host of products ranging from Laptops, Desktops, Mobile Phones and Multimedia Devices. Apple is one of the most formidable competitors in the smartphone, tablet PC, laptop and music services arena globally. There are competing companies to Apple that continually expand adjacent market segments and excel, with Google's Android operating system and over 50 different devices being one of the most significant (Apple Investor Relations, 2013). The intent of this analysis is to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) that Apple poses as a competitor and devise a series of strategies for taking advantage of their vulnerabilities to gain market share.
On September 19th, 2014 Apple presented the biggest thing to happen to the iPhone since the first iPhone, the release of the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 absolutely shines over all smartphones on the market. Apple is and has always been one step ahead of other leading cell phone brands like: Motorola, LG, and Blackberry. According to Statista, “The iPhone is the top-selling individual phone of any kind in the U.S., with sales of the brand reaching 500 million in March 2014 since it the first generation iPhone was released in June 2007” (Percentage). With this new useful and helpful piece of technology, life for its users is much easier. Also, with the long -lasting battery life, more creative technology, and a fresh, sleek look of the body, Apple has outdone themselves with the criteria of an outstanding smartphone. The iPhone 6 is very useful for its users and exemplifies all the basic criteria for an exceptional smart phone: long-lasting battery life, strong durability, and great visual display.
With the release of the new iPhone 6 and 6+, Apple is receiving a lot of negative feedback for the seemingly parallel technology in the new iPhones to several Samsung phones released a couple years ago. Regardless of accusations, the iPhones will continue to sell because of the brand apple has created. “Better” product or service is simply a matter of opinion, but the notion that Apple has a devoted customer base is a fact.
The Apple Corporations is very secretive regarding their future plans and innovations, which makes it hard to determine the new company vision and future of their products. Over the last several months Apple has started to

Fortunately, the successor of the 1st generation iPhone was introduced the next year and there have been many other introductions since then. The release of the iPhone 6 occurred on September 19th and, apparently, the sales for the phone have exceeded Tim Cook’s expectations. “The launch weekend for Apple 's new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus was the strongest start yet for the company 's smart phone lineup, reaching 10 million units sold in the first three days of availability, and topping last year 's previous best of 9 million”.

Apple had to face dissatisfied customers and international law authori-ties. The issue laid in the core of its marketing plan. The company was mainly oriented on innovative technology, forgetting who this technology was actually serving.
