Content and Structure This project requires you to identify and analyse the extent to which consumers focus on price while shopping. Accompany a friend on a trip to a store and observe your friend's behaviour. Make sure that you go to a store where people usually buy many products. For example, grocery shop or shopping mall, or any other shop you know that people tend to buy many items. Additionally, make sure that your friend does not know in advance that you observe his/her behaviour. Analysis: • Use the actual receipt to evaluate performance. • What are the implications of these findings for the marketing strategies of the products or stores you examined?   This project should give you experience applying some of the concepts you have learned in this module as you collect data on consumer behaviour and price factors. You may wish to use other theoretical models such as Consumer Buyer Behaviour Model, Product Development Process, Factors Affecting Pricing Decisions, etc. to assist you during your reflection process. You need to consider what to include in the body of your project and what to include in the appendices as be as creative as possible. Essential information must be included in the body of the project and will be counted in the word count. Extra illustrative information may be included in the appendices. Your project will be assessed using the Writing Rubric located below of the Marking Criteria shell. Students will decide on the appropriate structure and content but we would expect to see the following elements: 1. This can be fairly short. If there are reasons to suspect several different possible patterns or results. 3. Procedure: describe what you did. Summary: write a summary of your outcome. • Conclusions and marketing implications: say what you have learned from your results; address the main question and adequately summarize the findings of your research.
