  Absolute radius = 0.84 mRadius uncertainty = ±0.04 m

Formula Used:

First, Absolute Volume, V is found using the formula

  V=(43)×π×r3 .

Where, r is the radius.

Uncertainty in volume is found using the formula (ΔVV)=±n(Δrr)

Where, n is the power to the radius in the formula.

Example − If in formula r2 then n=2

Calculations:

  V=(43)×π×r3=(43)×3.14×(0.84)3=2.48m3

  ( ΔVV)=±3( Δrr)( ΔVV)=±3( 0.04 0.84)( ΔVV)=±0.14ΔV=±0.35

  Volume=2.48±0.35m3

Hence, percent uncertainty in volume is found using

  (Volume Uncertainty)(Absolute Volume)  ×100%   

  Here, Absolute Volume is 2 .48 m3.Volume Uncertainty is ±0 .35 m3.

  Percent Uncertainty=0.352.48×100%Percent Uncertainty=0.141×100%
