A scientific method is a way to obtain understanding of a natural phenomenon. This involves formation of question, a hypothesis and testing method. The scientific method gives a proper step by step way to answer a problem, thereby removing any subjective solution. The solution can also be reproduced objectively.

A scientific method involves following step:

1. Formulating a question based on observation.

2. Formulating a hypothesis.

3. Designing an experiment to test the hypothesis.

4. Conducting the experiment.

5. Recording the data of experiment.

6. Analyzing the data.

7. Drawing conclusion from the data.

8. Re-conduction of the test such that it reproduces the same result.
