Chapter 10, Problem 15CYR
Summary Introduction
To review:
The given blanks in the statement pertaining to the energetic sources of resistance and endurance training.
Introduction:
Resistance training is any resistance exercise that causes muscles to contract. This type of training is done with the aim to increase muscle strength, tone, and mass. It causes an increase in the frequency of motor unit activation and a larger increase in force.
Endurance training is also called aerobic exercise, which is an act of exercise to increase sufferance. It is the training of the aerobic system as opposed to an anaerobic system, and results in a large increase in the frequency of motor unit activation and a moderate increase in force.
