Introduction:
Potential energy is the energy by virtue of a body’s position or its shape. Kinetic energy is the energy in a body by virtue of its motion.
When a spring is wound up, it stores potential energy. When the toy moves, the potential energy is converted to kinetic energy. When the toy runs down, all the potential energy is converted to kinetic energy.
