Introduction:
Total energy of a system remains conserved as per law of conservation of energy. One form of energy can be changed to another but new energy cannot be created or it cannot just disappear.
When a child jumps on a trampoline and is at highest point, then the kinetic energy is zero, elastic potential energy is zero but gravitational potential energy is maximum. This has been shown in the energy bar diagram below:
