Introduction:

Particles and the antiparticle are the subatomic particles having the same mass but opposite charges which cancel out each other in the process of annihilation. When the particle and antiparticle come in contact with each other, they annihilate each other leaving behind the gamma photons. The annihilation process violates the law of conservation of momentum to some extent.

The decay of the particle disintegrates the particles at a subatomic level and results in the formation of new constituent particles which together represent the main configuration of the parent particle.
