Microorganisms like mould, yeast and mushrooms are called as Fungi. All fungi are eukaryotic organisms placed in the kingdom Fungi has been separated from plants, animals by absence and presence of chlorophyll and cell wall respectively. Fungal diseases/infection of the skin is the fourth most common diseases which have affected 984 million people in 2010. We can observe fungal infection very often on the skin and in lungs. Fungal disease can be seen even in plants where it damages crops like rice (eg: rice blast disease). Few fungi can lead to dangerous diseases in humans which are fatal if left untreated.
