Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Hyphae are the branching tubular filaments noticed in fungus. Hyphae of fungi helps in vegetative growth. Fungal hyphae divides into cells with the help of septa. The septa contain perforated pores in with cellular components like ribosomes, mitochondria even nuclei can flow from one cell to another. Hyphae can be either septate or aseptate by the presence of septa. In aseptate hyphae, absence of septa makes multinucleate hyphae.
