AB group has opened service centers in rural areas to help the villagers search for various products online and purchase such products. E-commerce accounts for 8% in China. This company recently acquired stake in an e-commerce firm located in Southeast Asia. Southeast Asia does not have sound infrastructure system and strong information technology management. AB group is facing some challenges due to the economic conditions prevailing in the home country and is facing stiff competition from homegrown competitors.
