Introduction:

RNA is a polymeric molecule containing a pentose sugar, phosphate group, and nucleotides. Its pentose sugar does not lack an oxygen atom at two carbon position. Nitrogenous bases involved in RNA are adenine, guanine, cytosine, and uracil. Evolutionary RNA is much older than DNA. RNA is primarily involved in the protein synthesis. The process of protein synthesis is known as translation.
