Introduction: ncRNAs (non coding RNAs) are molecules that are formed from the transcription of RNAs but do not get translated to proteins. Gene expression is affected by these molecules. Examples of ncRNAs that are involved in epigenetics are miRNAs, piRNAs and siRNAs.
