To draw: A diagram showing the pathway by which the flu virus enters the cells.
Introduction: Influenza, also known as flu, is an infectious disease which is caused by the influenza virus. Mild to severe symptoms can be seen in the infected patients. Influenza virus consists of the fusion protein and is activated in acidic pH. NH3 can protect the cells from the virus infection. As an old folk remedy against the flu, it is recommended to spend a night in horse stables because the ammonia generated by bacteria in the horse’s urine will be present in the atmosphere of stables.
To explain: How NH3 protects the cells from the virus infection.
