Concept introduction:
A fatty acid is the main constituents of a triglyceride, which is a type of lipid that is utilized by the body to store energy. A lipid is simply a kind of molecule which incorporates, amid other things, fatty acids. Triglycerides are a secondary energy source that the body can employ in the incident that there is not sufficient sugar inside the system.
