Introduction:
Measles is also known as “rubella” in the United States. It is a childhood disease that causes rashes. It is one of the most contagious and serious disease. Symptoms of measles include sore throat, fever, dry cough, headache and conjunctivitis. After two-three days of illness, “Koplik spots” (lesions) appear on the mucous membrane of the mouth and provide a method for diagnosis of the disease.
