Question
Chapter 2, Problem 12CT
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The way through which a single molecule of magnesium hydroxide neutralizes two molecules of hydrochloric acid.
Introduction:
A substance that is present in nature can be acidic, basic or neutral. When acids are associated with bases, it leads to form a salt. This is termed as “neutralizing reaction”. This salt can be basic, acidic or neutral depends on the type of reacting acids and bases. When both the positive and negative charges are counterbalanced, it will lead to creating a compound electrically neutral.
