DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is the genetic material of multicellular organisms and is a double stranded molecule having complementary strands to each other. DNA contains nitrogen bases, ribose sugar, and phosphate group. The nitrogen bases are attached to each other via hydrogen bonds.
