A battery with a terminal voltage of Vab = 9 V is connected to a circuit having three 10-ohm and one 5-ohm resistors all in series. Assuming that the battery has negligible internal resistance, calculate the equivalent resistance in the circuit, and (b) the current through each resistor.
When we connect an R resistor to a battery, the voltage at the ends of the resistor is measured at 240 V. When we add 10 Ω to this resistance, the circuit current becomes 5 A, and when 20 Ω is removed, it becomes 10 A. Calculate the voltage of the battery, the internal resistance of the battery, R and I.
