Summary Introduction
Introduction:
A pulmonary alveolus is a basic unit of ventilation. Pulmonary ventilation, also known as breathing is a process that includes inhalation and exhalation. Inhalation is the movement of air into the alveoli of the lungs and exhalation is the movement of air out of the alveoli of the lungs. The pH is a measure of hydrogen ion concentration and determines the acidosis or alkalosis state in an aqueous solution.
