Introduction:
The earth is surrounded by a layer of atmosphere that is rich in major gases such as nitrogen, oxygen and few minor gases such as argon and helium. The atmospheric air also has water in the form of water vapor. The alveoli, also called as air sacs are a region found in the lungs, which is an important part of the respiratory system where exchanges of the major gases from the atmosphere such as oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place.
