Cancer is a condition that occurs because of the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells anywhere inside a body. Lungs are the major organ of respiration where the exchange of gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place. Lung cancer is the leading type of cancer happening worldwide. This cancer is due to an uncontrollable abnormal cell growth inside the lung. The major causes of lung cancer are cigarette smoking and air pollution.
