Question
Chapter 23.3, Problem 27AYP
Summary Introduction
To describe:
The process of making intra alveolar pressure changes during a quiet resting stage.
Introduction:
The atmospheric air pressure, which is present outside the body is known as barometric air pressure (PB). For general ease and simplicity, the value of the PB is taken as 0. The air pressure present in the alveoli is known as intra alveolar pressure, Pa|v. while inhalation, Pa|vdecreases as the alveolar volume increases, and while exhalation,Pa|vincreases.
