Question
Chapter 23.7, Problem 68AYP
Summary Introduction
To describe:
The condition of hypoxia and the reason, why there must a decreased amount of PO2to change the rate of respiration.
Introduction:
The cerebral cortex controls the rate of respiration according to the amount of the carbon dioxide present in the blood. It is triggered by the blood pH and the PCO2 of the blood. The change in the PO2 is not directly detected.
