Introduction:

HPV represents Human Papilloma Virus which is a sexually transmitted virus. Human Papilloma Virus is involved in causing cervical lesions associated with cancers. This virus causes papillomas or warts that include harmless growths of epithelium of the skin on hands, face, trunk, elbows, and genital areas. All warts can be painful and are often unsightly but genital warts are most distressing because they cause almost all cervical cancers.
