To explain: The term molecular paleontology.
Introduction: The term “cladistics” can be defined as the classification of the species on the basis of evolutionary relationships. Construction of a phylogenetic tree can be done by applying the cladistic approach. In this approach, the characters which are shared or not shared between a number of species, based on the evolutionary change are represented in the form of a phylogenetic tree.
