Introduction:
Nutrients are chemical substances that enter the body through the food. It helps and provides the energy for the repair and growth mechanism of the body. The major nutrients are of six classes, namely carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water, vitamins, and minerals. These are classified into two categories; they are macronutrients and micronutrients. Carbohydrates and fats are macronutrients that give energy to humans; most of the energy is obtained from the fats as compared to the carbohydrates.
