The kind of mutation in the plasmid operon should be determined which shows the given effect.

Mutagenesis is defined as the process through which DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) that contains genetic information of an organism gets altered. The alteration in the genetic information results in a mutation. Mutation can be the result of any of the following:
- Spontaneously occur in nature.
- Exposure to mutagens.
- Using laboratory procedures.
(b) Interpretation:
