Introduction:
The large-scale environments that are distinguished from each other on the basis of their temperature ranges and amount of rain are termed as biomes. There are eight terrestrial biomes around the world. Out of these eight, 3 are boreal forest, temperate forest, and tundra.
Explanation of Solution
Differences −
Tundra region is completely covered with frozen soil termed as permafrost around the year. The vegetation mainly found here are short shrubs and grasses. While, boreal forest consists of various varieties of trees.
Similarities −
Both the tundra and the boreal forests are found in Asia, North America, and Europe. Here, winters are long and very cold, while summers are warm but short.
