How does the ocean influence weather on land?
The effects of weather on land under the influence of ocean.
Answer to Problem 11TE
The ocean can change the weather on land by storing heat or releasing heat that comes from the Sun and it influence by making rainy clouds that bring rain in the atmosphere of land.
Explanation of Solution
The ocean absorbs the heat that comes from the sun, and later on, the ocean cools down by releasing heat or remains warm by storing heat. The land located near the ocean gets affected due to the ocean's heat-absorbing and release characteristics. The warm water ocean evaporates the water above its surface. Due to a large amount of evaporation, the water content increases in the land's atmosphere, this is closer to the ocean. Thus, the humidity increases and the weather get affected by the ocean.
The ocean's condition can change the temperature of the land. The ocean influences the weather on land when it releases a large amount of water by evaporation because this large amount of evaporated water is converted into clouds and then these clouds affect the weather by producing rain on the land.
Conclusion:
Therefore, the ocean can change the weather on land by storing heat or releasing heat that comes from the Sun and it influence by making rainy clouds that bring rain in the atmosphere of land.
