Summary Introduction

Introduction: Most of the cell wall of the fungi is made up of chitin. The chitin is made up of polysaccharides. The chitins are chains of modified glucose that strengthens tabular cell walls of the fungi. The chitin is closely related to cellulose that is found in the cell walls of the plants. Both the chitin and cellulose are derivatives of the glucose monomers.
