Cholera is a serious waterborne disease that results in severe water loss (dehydration) from the body. The disease is common in the developing countries where the water supply system is not as clean and hygienic as developed countries. The water that is supplied to houses in such countries is infected with numerous microbes and among them, cholera microbe is the most prevalent.
