Introduction:

Reservoir: It is an organism, in which the infectious agent or a pathogen can live, grow, multiply and can be transmitted indirectly or directly to the host from there. A reservoir can be living (such as animals) or nonliving (water).

Explanation of Solution

Given below is the analysis of different modes of disease spread:

Three disease reservoirs	Four main ways by which diseases are transmitted to humans.
1. Human reservoirs, the person who is infected that is carrier of the disease. 2. Animal reservoirs, the animal which carry pathogen. 3. Non-living reservoirs, water/soil etc, where the pathogen is present.	1. Through air from aerosol. 2. Direct or indirect contact with an infected person. 3. Body fluids, such as blood, saliva or pus. 4. through contaminated food or water.
