Concept explainers
In the simplest sense, a force is a push or pull. In a deeper sense, what is a force?
The force in a deeper sense.
Answer to Problem 1RQ
In a deeper sense, the force is the interaction between two bodies.
Explanation of Solution
Simply, the force is the push or pull on any object. When the body is in a stable position, it remains in a stable position until it experiences an external push.
In a deeper sense, the force occurs due to the interaction between two bodies. The force comes in action when one body interacts with another body to move it to some distance. For example, a box, which is in a stable position, if a person applies force to move in a horizontal direction is known as push and if a person carries the box is known as pull.
Conclusion:
Therefore, in a deeper sense, the force is the interaction between two bodies.
