Summary Introduction

Introduction: Central vacuoles are found inside the cells of a plant. The central vacuole is made up of a cell sap and a tonoplast. The tonoplast acts as the membrane of the central vacuole. Phospholipids with proteins embedded in it make up tonoplast. It acts as a boundary to separate the material that is contained within the central vacuole from the surrounding cell.
