Introduction:

A device which makes the work easy is called a machine.

Examples of the machines are:

• Bicycle: It is an example of the machine that increases speed.
• Claw ends of a hammer: In this case, the direction of the force applied by the hammer is changed by the machine itself. Hence it is an example of the machine that changes the direction of force.
• Steering wheels: In such case, the force applied by the machine is greater than the force applied by the person who is driving. So, this is an example of the machine that increases force.

Conclusion:

Hence, the examples of a machine which increases the speed, changes the direction of force and increases the force are: bicycle, claw ends of a hammer, steering wheels respectively.
