To define:  The terms negative feedback loop and positive feedback loop, and how they differ.

Introduction: In living organisms, maintenance of a steady condition is important to carry out the required metabolic and physiological processes. This steady state, called homeostasis, is maintained through a feedback system in the body. This feedback system is also used to maintain the conditions in the required range during any biological process.
