Introduction:
Reproduction in animals can take place by two means—asexual and sexual. In asexual reproduction, the genetically similar offspring or clones of the parent organism is produced, whereas in sexual reproduction, genetically varied offspring are produced as they inherit half the number of genes from one parent and a half from the other one.
