The reason for the training of athletes at high altitudes.
Introduction:
The cardiovascular system consists of blood, heart, and the blood vessels. The heart pumps the blood to all the parts of body through a network of blood vessels and capillaries. The blood is the connective tissue, which is made up of plasma, red blood cells/corpuscles (RBCs), white blood cells/corpuscles (WBCs), platelets, and other smaller particles essential in the functioning of the circulatory system of the organism. It is suspended in the liquid extracellular matrix and thus, makes the blood a viscous fluid.
