Introduction:
The mate of the bone is made up of elastic collagen fibres. The fibrous portion of the bone constitutes about 95 percent portion of the bones. The rest portion of the bone is occupied by the ground substance. The matrix of the bones consists of the inorganic salts especially the hydroxyapatite, the collagen fibres, and some amount of the calcium carbonate.
