GFR is defined as the rate by, which the fluid flows into the glomerulus and further to the Henle’s loop and distal convoluted tubule (DCT) part of the tubule. The process of filtration is hampered, if GFR is not adequate and its regulation is important for the proper functioning of the kidney.
