Introduction:
Eukaryotic cells contain a nucleus and other organelles. Each organelle performs a specific task that is vital for the organism. Locomotor appendages confer motility to many eukaryotes. Motility allows a microorganism to move towards nutrients and positive stimuli. There are two types of locomotor appendages found in eukaryotes- cilia and flagella.
