Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Latent and lysogenic viruses enter into the host cell and incorporate their nucleic acid into the host genome, which resulted inthe alteration of genetic material in host cells. The permanently altered genetic material leads to cause several types of cancers. According to a data, it has been estimated that about thirteen percent of the human cancers are generated by viruses. The virus causing cancers are called oncogenic. Some viruses carry genes that can directly cause cancer in humans.
