To determine: The way in which an individual can hydrolyze sucrose to invert sugar non enzymatically in a home kitchen.
Introduction:
Invert sugar is a mixture of two monosaccharide units of carbohydrate: glucose and fructose. This invert sugar is formed by heating the mixture of sucrose and water. Heating of sucrose with water cause the breakage of bonds present in between glucose and fructose molecules.
