Introduction:
Melanosomes are considered to be lysosome-related organelles, but they do not contain hydrolases and have a low pH (potential of hydrogen) because they do not have the same origin as the lysosomes. If the melanosomes had the same origin as the lysosomes, they would receive enzymes from the Golgi apparatus, similar to lysosomes.
