Comment on whether or not this label on a consumer product should be cause for concern.
CAUTION: The mass of this product pulls on every other mass in the universe, with an attracting force that is proportional to the product of the masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
Whether the label on a consumer product is the cause of concern or not
Answer to Problem 1TE
The caution should label on the consumer product if the mass of consumer product and other mass is very high and the distance is not very large between the consumer product and other mass.
Explanation of Solution
The attracting force of the consumer product is proportional to the product of the masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance.
If the mass of the consumer product and other mass is very high, then the attracting force of the consumer product will also be more. If the mass of another product is very less, then the product of this mass with the mass of consumer product becomes very less, so the attracting force also becomes very less.
If the mass of the consumer product and other mass is very high, but the distance between the consumer product and other mass is also very high, then the attracting force of the consumer product becomes very less on other product due to large distance between the consumer product and other mass.
Conclusion:
Therefore, the caution should label on the consumer product if the mass of consumer product and other mass is very high and the distance is not very large between the consumer product and other mass.
