Question
Chapter 7, Problem 26RQE
The array name without brackets and subscript is referred as “address” of the array”.
Program Plan Intro
Array:
An array is a variable which stores multiple values of same types of data; the array values are stored in continuous memory locations.
An array is declared through the following format:
Data-type array-name [size declarator];
Consider the following array definition:
//Declaration of array
int values[5];
- In the above example, “int” represents the data type of the array, “values[]” is the array name and the number inside the brackets is the size declaratory of the array.
Subscript of an array:
In an array, each element is assigned with the unique number which is specified inside the brackets is referred as subscript.
- The subscript is used to specify the specific element in an array; it is referred by adding a square bracket next to the array name.
- In an array, the first element is assigned with the subscript “0”, second element with subscript “1” and so on.

Date Printer Write a program that reads a char array from the user containinga date in the form mm/dd/yyyy. It should print the date in the form March 12, 2014.
1. Create a struct called Booking that consists of a 3 digit flight number (e.g. 234), type of seat (E or B), the priceof a seat in economic class and the number of seats booked.Declare an array to store at least 30 Booking structs. 2. The user must be able to enter the information for a number of bookings from the keyboard. Ask whether abooking must be made (Y or N). If a booking must be made, a random 3 digit flight number must be generated.The user must be asked to enter the type of seat, the price per seat and the number of seats to book.Example of input:
